WHAT's NEW
Psychological Apocalypse
By Al Lheureux

I am at the edge of a psychological apocalypse.
I sit here trying to find the answers, but as they elude
Me, they are like atomic bombs being dropped on the
Landscape of my mind. I try to do things to make a change,
But I'm either ignored or crucified by the conservatives
Who want to continue to exercise their power. They
Ridicule me and tell their children I'm wrong, but they're
The ones destroying the Earth and not leaving us a future.
So as my psychological apocalypse begins, I realize
That we shall all be placed in sepulchers of our own
Construction. That our actions will make our resting place
A shrine or an empty hollow tomb. That we'll be remembered
As martyrs or madmen. But as the end comes I don't care
Either way because everything becomes dark and bleak in
The landscape after my psychological apocalypse.
